PHP Rails は、Ruby On Rails（Webアプリケーションフレームワーク） のPHP版として、構築しました。

PHP Rails 誕生

MITCCは、Ruby On RailsにてPCサイト・携帯サイト（公式サイト＆勝手サイト）を3年に渡り数々開発してきましたが、課題となることは、常にRubyの欠点であるパフォーマンスでした。

Ruby On Railsは、Webアプリケーション開発においては高品質で短期間に構築できるとても優れたフレームワークです。しかし、とても遅い。

開発手法はRailsと同等で、処理速度はPHPのように高速なものは存在しないのかと、約１年間探しました。Railsの影響を受けたMVCフレームワーク（CakePHP・Symfony）をテストしましたが、理想的な構造ではありませんでした。

PHP Railsは、MITCCによって、2010/04構想着手～　2010/06/30初版誕生　2011/01/31パッケージ化Version 2.0公開となりました。
